Background: From Atlanta, GA, where basketball is played a little differently. What makes Wade Harper stand out is that he will shut up everyone that says, “Big man aren’t what they use to be.” He is a shot-blocking, rebounding, dunking machine. He's very raw, but worth the work in my opinion. Depending on the team need at the number 1 spot, he might be the number one pick. At Kansas, he averaged a double-double with 12.3 pts and 14! He has been the spotlight of ATL ball for a while. He's been hanging with the other ATL stars, as there is abundance of them out there. He is ready for the lights and has the whole city on his back, and he's definitely the biggest thing since Josh Smith out of the ATL.

 

Scouting Report:

 

Athleticism: 6’10", strong, big hands, makes smaller defenders scared…. anymore questions????

 

Offense: Very Raw, but good around the basket. He's more of a putback, hustle points guy, but if he gets a post move or two he might be elite on this side of the ball one day. He won't space the floor, and he will take up room down low

 

Defense: The upside to this kid is that he won’t have to work too much on this side of the ball; he is a great rim protector, and he has enough speed to get from one side of the paint to the other.
