PF Class Grade: B-
Ohio State's Randy Douglas took home Freshman of the Year honors this season after his spectacular first collegiate year. However, after just one year in the college life, Douglas has decided to pursue an NBA career, and this might be the best decision of his life. The Power Forward position lacks a breakout guy in this year's class, and after an impressive Freshman campaign at OSU, many are looking to Douglas to be the young stud here. Along with point guard Brandon Taylor, Douglas led the Buckeyes to the National Championship Game, where they lost to Louisville. Douglas is a pure athlete at 6'9", 258 pounds. And at just 19, there's plenty of room for improvement for him as well. Offensively, he won't be able to give you much yet other than offensive rebounds and dunks, but defensively is where he shines the brightest. Douglas' rare blend of quickness, strength, and speed will give him an advantage over some of the giants of the NBA, and his non-stop motor should help him keep going throughout the entire season.

Opposite of Douglas in the National Championship Game was Louisville's Everett Smith. Smith is almost the polar-opposite of Douglas, as instead of hustle and athleticism, he brings you low-post scoring and, well, more scoring. Though Smith was running with Raymond Buchanan and Jeremiah Jackson all year, a lot of Louisville's success has to be credited to the big man. Smith was unstoppable in the post all season long in the American Conference, as well as the NCAA tournament. Though Smith's game revolves largely around his low-post scoring, it might perhaps be his mid-range jumpshot that is his biggest asset. He shot 48% from outside of the paint last season, and though his jumper doesn't extend past the three-point line, he can still spread the floor fairly well. Even though defensively he's a nightmare (not in the good way), Smith is one of the top big men in the draft.
