1) Brandon Taylor, Ohio State, Point Guard

6'3", 191 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Awesome athlete; long wingspan; has potential to be an elite point guard in this league.

 

Weaknesses: Lacks a consistent jumper; tries to force a few plays here and there; does he have a killer instinct?

 

Best Case/Worst Case: John Wall - Rodrigue Beaubois

 

 

2) Jordan Webster, Michigan State, Small Forward/Shooting Guard

6'8", 214 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Great athleticism; does a lot of things well; proven leader on-and-off the court

 

Weaknesses: Still needs work on the defensive end; needs to bulk up for the NBA; shooting touch needs some work

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Andre Iguodala - Terrence Williams

 

 

3) Igor Titov, Russia, Small Forward/Shooting Guard

6'8", 220 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Excellent Scorer, might be best in the draft; nice shooting touch from everywhere on the floor.

 

Weaknesses: Just an average athlete; not a very good defender at this point in his career; poor rebounder for his size.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Joe Johnson - Omri Casspi

 

 

4) Wade Harper, Kansas, Center/Power Forward

6'10", 270 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Amazing athlete for his size; strongest player in the draft; already very good defensively; finishes well around the rim.

 

Weaknesses: Very raw offensively; commits some bad turnovers; had some injury issues in high school.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Al Horford - Kwame Brown

 

 

5) Bryce Logan, Creighton, Shooting Guard/Small Forward

6'7", 204 lbs, 22 Years Old

 

Strengths: Lights-out shooter; works well off-the-ball to get open; can put the ball on the floor; solid on-ball defender.

 

Weaknesses: Just average athletically; might get bullied by stronger swingmen in the league.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Nicolas Batum - Mike Miller

 

 

6) Sheldon Wright, Germany, Point Guard

6'2", 169 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Excellent scorer; very quick player; quick hands on the defensive end.

 

Weaknesses: Doesn't play off-ball defense very well; not a true point guard; pretty soft inside offensively.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Tony Parker - Jonny Flynn

 

 

7) Wilson Thomas, Baylor, Shooting Guard/Point Guard

6'3", 215 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Provides scoring from all over the court; quick feet; finishes in the paint well for a little guy.

 

Weaknesses: Very small for a shooting guard; might not have the ability to stretch to the point; not a supreme athlete, below-average defender.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Jason Terry - Jimmer Fredette

 

 

8) Everett Smith, Louisville, Power Forward/Center

6'10", 269 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Nice back-to-basket game; scores in the low post well; silky smooth mid-range jumper helps spread the floor.

 

Weaknesses: Slow feet; poor defender, both in the low-post and off-ball; only an average rebounder.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Al Jefferson - Jason Thompson

 

 

9) DeSean Reed, Kentucky, Shooting Guard/Small Forward

6'6", 193 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Nice range on his jumpshot; shoots from the corner three extremely well; quick feet gives him some defensive potential.

 

Weaknesses: Not a consistent option on offense yet; needs to keep his emotions in check on-and-off the court; needs to improve on defense.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: J.R. Smith - Wesley Johnson

 

 

10) Raymond Buchanan, Louisville, Shooting Guard

 

6'5", 221 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Prototypical size for a 2-guard; excellent finisher inside; phenomenal athlete; plays with flair.

 

Weaknesses: Lacks a reliable jumpshot; might not be able to stretch to small forward; not a great ball-handler.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Tony Allen - Xavier Henry

 

 

11) Randy Douglas, Cal, Power Forward/Center

6'9", 258 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Great athleticism for a big man; runs the court very well and finishes on fast breaks; solid defensively in the paint; has some potential.

 

Weaknesses: Pretty limited offensively; still raw on both sides of the court.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: J.J. Hickson - Dante Cunningham

 

 

12) Edward Fox, Syracuse, Power Forward/Small Forward

6'9", 247 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Pretty solid all-around; has nice range on his jumper; fairly athletic for his size; plays pretty physical despite his insistence on playing on the perimeter.

 

Weaknesses: Definitely a tweener; not quick enough to play small forward, not big enough to play power forward; on-ball defense is lacking.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Wilson Chandler- Derrick Williams

 

 

13) Seth Glover, Iowa, Point Guard/Shooting Guard

6'5", 195 lbs, 22 Years Old

 

Strengths: Excellent size for a point guard; can stretch to the two with ease; has a nice looking jumper; pretty nice court vision.

 

Weaknesses: Doesn't really use his height to his advantage; average defender; probably not far from his ceiling already.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Greivis Vasquez - Shaun Livingston

 

 

14) Yunlong Su, China, Power Forward/Center

6'11", 225 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Has great potential; possesses a deadly faceup game already; underrated athlete.

 

Weaknesses: Still developing three-point range; needs lots of work defensively; low basketball IQ; needs to bulk up.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Pau Gasol - Yi Jianlian

 

 

15) Stephen Elliott, North Carolina, Shooting Guard

6'4", 225 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Very nice mid-range shooting touch; great at attacking the basket; has potential to be a good player in this league.

 

Weaknesses: Not quite a threat from three yet; probably won't be able to play at the 3 due to his 6'4" height; still undisciplined.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Lance Stephenson - James White

 

 

16) Mathew Daniels, Mississippi State, Center

7'1", 267 lbs, 22 Years Old

 

Strengths: Might be the best big man defensively in the draft; has an underrated offensive skill-set; solid rebounder

 

Weaknesses: Not much upside; has had issues staying healthy

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Marcus Camby - Tyler Zeller

 

 

17) Mitchell Henry, Texas, Small Forward/Shooting Guard

6'8", 195 lbs, 22 Years Old

 

Strengths: Nice length at 6'8"; very good three-point shooter; already a stout perimeter defender.

 

Weaknesses: Hasn't shown that he can be elite offensively yet; not as good athletically as you'd like; not much upside.

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Danny Green - Roger Mason

 

 

18) Colin Jackson, Marquette, Power Forward

6'9", 222 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Top rebounder in the class; hasn't missed a game since high school; tremendous hustle

 

Weaknesses: Undersized big man; little to no offensive game; average defender

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Kenneth Faried - Dante Cunningham

 

 

19) Tyrone Frazier, Indiana, Small Forward/Power Forward

6'9", 233 lbs, 22 Years Old

 

Strengths: Good Athlete; decent perimeter defender; has stayed healthy his whole career

 

Weaknesses: Definitely a tweener; lacks a jumpshot; not a good ball-handler; average rebounder

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Earl Clark - Donte Green

 

 

20) Desmond Arthur, Florida, Power Forward/Center

6'11", 244 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Has nice size for a power forward; has a pretty jumpshot, spreads the floor well; passes well for a big man

 

Weaknesses: Pretty poor defender at this stage; not sure if he can develop into a full-time starter; needs to work on his rebounding skills

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Channing Frye - Anthony Randolph

 

 

21) Otis Hudson, Duke, Point Guard

6'1", 182 lbs, 20 Years Old

 

Strengths: Solid scorer; can find the open man; can knock down the open three

 

Weaknesses: Low-basketball IQ; turns the ball over frequently; might not realize his full potential; not a great defender by any means

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Kemba Walker - Nolan Smith

 

 

22) Vince Collins, Dartmouth, Small Forward

6'7", 240 lbs, 23 Years Old

 

Strengths: Excellent three-point shooter; knows where to be on offense

 

Weaknesses: Poor defender; not a good athlete at all; hardly any upside

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Kyle Korver - Steve Novak

 

 

23) J.J. Martin, Connecticut, Point Guard

5'10", 168 lbs, 23 Years Old

 

Strengths: Can fill in and run an offense from the get-go; knocks down open jumpers; underrated defender

 

Weaknesses: Undersized, even as a point guard; not much upside; below average athlete

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Derrick Fisher - Earl Watson

 

 

24) Dale Young, Duke, Center

7'0", 271 lbs, 24 Years Old

 

Strengths: 3-year starter at Duke, has experience; nice touch inside; decent low-post defender; solid rebounder

 

Weaknesses: Don't expect him to be an all-star; not a good athlete; lacks a jumpshot to keep defenses honest

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Greg Stiemsma - Robert Sacre

 

 

25) Arnold Reid, Germany, Center

7'2", 224 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Excellent length; amazing shot-blocker due to his size; tenacious offensive rebounder; only 19-years-old

 

Weaknesses: Very slender; might get pushed around by stronger big men; not much offensive firepower

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Omer Asik - Hamed Haddadi

 

 

26) Pat Marion, Florida State, Small Forward/Power Forward

6'10", 234 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Nice size for a SF; can stretch to the 4 if needed; has a nice looking jump shot; hustle player

 

Weaknesses: Not a tremendous athlete; not a good perimeter defender or a low-post defender

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Michael Beasley - Donte Green

 

 

27) Adrian Nelson, Stanford, Center

7'0", 245 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Can provide teams nice depth at the 5; underrated mid-range game; nice low-post defender

 

Weaknesses: Some have questioned his passion for the sport; lacks an offensive post game so far in his career

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Nene - Nazr Mohammed

 

 

28) Lee Bowman, Providence, Small Forward/Shooting Guard

6'8", 235 lbs, 21 Years Old

 

Strengths: Very good shooter; nice size for a swingman; decent rebounder

 

Weaknesses: Average athlete; not very good defensively; poor ball-handler

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Martell Webster - James Jones

 

 

29) Juan Carlos Garcia, Mexico, Shooting Guard/Small Forward

6'8", 185 lbs, 19 Years Old

 

Strengths: Spot-up shooter; solid scorer; gets creative on his way to the basket; can be a nice role player

 

Weaknesses: Not going to be a starter for most teams; poor defender; has had some health concerns in the past

 

Best Case/Worst Case: Landry Fields - Austin Daye

 

 

30) Ivan Jukic, Croatia, Point Guard

Strengths: Excellent shooter; can score pretty well; very consistent shooter

 

Weaknesses: Not a true point guard; might be tough to transition to the two guard
